My Birthday was GREAT!

So it's Monday! Happy Monday to the few that actually read this. First off, I had a GREAT Birthday! I told everyone about what happened when I woke up but it gets better. After having fun with the ihome (the black box) I made pancakes for my sisters boyfriend who also celebrated his Birthday on September 12. I made kind of a mess so I decided to clean up the kitchen so my mom wouldn't come home to a mess. While I was cleaning I thought about going to this neat imported gift store in down town Fredericksburg called Heritage Gifts. By the time I was done cleaning, I had come to the conclusion that I was going to go. I quickly took a shower and like any girl, I took forever to find out what I was going to wear. As I was picking out my outfit I hear the doorbell ring. *DING DONG* so I go down stairs in one of the many outfits I was thinking of wearing (but wasn't all that happy with) and walked to the front door. As I approached the door, the corner of a colorful balloon peaked around the side window. I immediately knew FedEx or UPS was here to see me and I opened the door to find three huge balloons in my face tied to a vase of 21 red roses and a box of flowers! The man cheerfully said, "So you must be turning 21?" and I told him, "Yes that's me!" as I signed for the gifts. The roses and balloons were from my mom, dad, and sister, and the box of flowers was from Amy! When placing the vase and box down to read the cards, I saw another truck coming in to deliver a box. I opened the door before he had the chance to ring the door bell and he, with a smile, gave me the box and told me Happy Birthday. I looked around to see if any more trucks were coming, and then closed the door. Just from the font used to write my address, I knew it was from my sister Amy. I went back to the vase and set the box down and opened it. Inside I tearfully read three wonderful cards and unwrapped a monogrammed purse and owl pajamas! I was so excited about them that I immediately switched purses, old with new, and tried on the pajamas. Both are a perfect fit and I am very thankful for my gifts! After cleaning up the wrapper and paper I headed over to the Heritage Gifts store and purchased a few little things and then headed back over to my home. It was to early to leave for dinner so I watched a movie with my dad and then left the house around 7:30 to arrive at our reservation for 8:00. We entered Zum Rhiengarten and announced that we had reservations. I noticed there was a live band playing and if that wasn't enough, when we approached our table, they had wrote "Happy 21st Birthday Kelly!" on a plate! I felt so welcome there and I knew it was going to be a night to remember. The food was great and the dessert was even more amazing. After dinner my best friend Mia took me to Cheeseburger In Paradise to have my first drink. I am not much of a drinker so I told her that I would only have one, if I could even finish it! I ordered a "Lady in the water" which is a "girly" drink that has layers of Strawberry Daiquiri and Pina Colada! It was delicious but I only drank about 1/4 if even that because I was full from dinner. After the drink, Mia took me home and I went straight to bed because I had work the next day. I had a great Birthday and with each passing year I celebrate, I realize how much more I am blessed to have such great family and friends. Thank you =)
