It's My Birthday!

Welp today is September 12, 2008 and I am proud to say that I am now 21 years young! I actually spent the first hours of the day talking to one of my best friends, Bryon Bartlett. He called me at exactly 12:00am to wish me a Happy Birthday and it certainly was a sweet surprise. The next surprise was discovered shortly after awakening when I made my way down the stairs to the kitchen to find a card from my parents and an Ipod docked inside of a Black Box and a tiny Remote sitting on the table with a note that read something like this, "Good Morning! Happy 21st Birthday! I hope you enjoy your gift! Now please press play! -Love Katie (my sister)". After reading the note and feeling extremely loved...=)... I pressed play on the tiny remote and instantly the song "Birthday" by The Pretzels began to play. I had the biggest smile on my face and immediately called her to tell her thank you. I don't really have any plans for the day but I am going out to eat tonight with my family to celebrate at a German restaurant called Zum Rheingarten. I am excited about that and I couldn't have asked for a better day! =)
